New Beginnings

As of the end of last year, I started a new role at Nutanix! I’ve always been a fan of technology, and working on a platform where customers have the freedom and flexibility to run workloads wherever they need resonated with me. Nutanix has been on my radar since I first visited its HQ in San Jose, California. The picture here is my first HQ visit as a proud Nutanix employee.

My focus will be on Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), the ability to run the Nutanix stack on top of public cloud infrastructure. The role itself is slightly different from what I’ve been doing previously, with more focus on customers but keeping the evangelism part that I love. In my first period at Nutanix, it’s clear to see the focus on engineering and innovation. The PM, engineering, and other teams are responsive, with a lot of focus, energy, and willingness to move forward. I specifically like the integration of solutions, something Nutanix has always excelled in.

Another thing is the investment in knowledge within the company. New hires are flown out to HQ for onboarding. There are various internal conferences like the Nutanix Global Tech Summit (GTS), which I’ve attended in Austin, TX. It’s a specialized internal and partner-focused event designed to bring together Nutanix’s technical community—including engineers, architects, and partners—for deep technical training, strategic updates, and collaboration. Then there’s the annual internal Sales Kickoff (SKO) event, our flagship conference .NEXT, which is more customer- and industry-focused, including .NEXT on tour for more localised experiences. And it doesn’t stop there… It goes to show that Nutanix invests a lot in sharing knowledge, both internally and externally.

I’ll be working in a global team that collaborates with all internal teams, but also hyperscalers (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and service providers like OVH Cloud. It’s been a breath of fresh air, and I’m looking forward to my time here!
