I am an IT and virtualization enthusiast with more than 20 years of experience in IT. I have extensive knowledge and experience in designing, building, and implementing complex enterprise IT infrastructures.

I have a fond interest in new technologies in the areas of IT resource management, workload/cloud migrations, and hardware accelerators. There’s a strong focus on, but certainly not limited to, VMware technologies. I have specialized in the areas of enterprise cloud infrastructures, resource management, hardware accelerators, and workload migrations. Since 2015, I am a VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX), number 212.

I regularly speak at VMware Explore, VMworld, VMUGs, AWS re:Invent, and other industry events. I am a published author of the successful vSphere 6.5 Host Resources and the vSphere 6.7 Clustering Deep Dive books.

My personality can be described as flexible, accurate, proactive, and communicative.

In my spare time, I like to be with my wife and kids, doing fun things together. Next to that, I am a petrolhead. I enjoy practically all forms of motorsports! If it includes engines and wheels, chances are I’m a fan. I try to be a virtual racer on my sim when I have the time.
